Preferences

Preferences are properties that steer the behaviour of an OMD configuration. OMD distinguishes three kinds of preferences - preferences that steer the behaviour of the OMD configuration itself, preferences that steer the behaviour of OMD Scheduler, and mobile (processflow) preferences that steer the behaviour of the OMD mobile clients. Not all preferences mentioned in this documentation are automatically available in a new configuration. However, they may be entered manually if required. All preferences have a default value, which is used to give an OMD configuration a standard behaviour. If a customer wants to deviate from the standard behaviour, or if the customer wants to activate functionality that is inactive by default, a specific preference setting can change the behaviour accordingly.
