Rules

Rules are expressions that allow to validate data entered into MobileUIs by the user. If a rule expression is evaluated true, a visual indicator is shown for the itemsPlanned and closing the task may not be allowed.

Rule expressions may consist of widget names, constant values and relational operators.

An XSL-template can alternatively be used as a rule expression. The template must be stored in a flow-preference and the rule-expression must consist of xsl: plus the name of the flow-preference. It's highly recommended to use a specific naming scheme for those flow preferences to avoid intersections with existing defined flow-preferences! The template is applied on the XML of the localExtra, a.k.a. the extra of the designated itemsDelivered. If the result of the template contains the text true, the rule is active and additional confirmation by the user is required.
