Skills
Skills are used to identify capabilities of mobile worker (Resource). Usually, skills are related to specific machine devices or general knowledge. During upload, a Resource element must be embedded into a Territory element. Skill elements must be embedded into the Resource element. It is expected that with each update of a Resource or Skill, the ERP system posts the entire skill set along with the Resource data. To ensure consistent behaviour, the skillsAsVector
preference must be configured to be true.

Required skills can be defined per product and product category in relation to the process flow and quantity, which are assigned to a task attachment. All resulting skills are determined and assembled during insert, update or delete of task attachments and automatically entered into the Skill field. Every single skill is enumerated in double quotes. This functionality is activated by the configuration parameter recalculateSkills
.

When the configuration parameter recalculateSkills
is switched on, the list of required skills for a task is assembled when changes to task attachments occur. The delimiter in the enumeration of skills can be altered by the parameter recalculateSkillsDelimiter
