Report Generator

OMD uses Jasper Reports to generate reports. The report engine is part of the OMD environment and does not require additional setup. However, each configuration will require a specific layout of the report. For example, the service report must show the customer's company logo and address at specific locations of the report pages.

To allow for individual reports, a report file with extension .jasper is copied into the configuration's private folder on the OMD service environment (sub-folder reporting). When a report is requested, OMD will search for an individual report for the specific configuration. If not available, OMD will search for the default report, available in the reporting folder of the default configuration.

Note that reports need to be built by internal staff since it requires direct access to the OMD database. This is also applicable for posting new or adapted reports to the configuration's reporting folder.
